Co-Founder

Joyful connection with others has always been the firefly that lit my winding path. Exploring life this way has led me in many beautiful and unexpected directions. 

For the first 10 years of my adult life, I worked as an emergency responder. I transitioned into non-profit leadership, which paved the way for many years as an entrepreneur and facilitator. Along the way, I taught yoga and vegan cooking classes, produced my own TV cooking show and published two cookbooks.

After enthusiastically rounding many corners, I now put my energy into artistic creations and experiences that are bursting with beauty and reverence for the natural world.

The Ecosystem of Evolution is a sparkling example. When Naomi Irons and I realized that seeing Gaia as a role model was the key to our fully living, we began to create spaces where we and other women could explore this revelation deeply and intimately. In an ongoing series of joyful connections listed on this website, women leap over limitations and rediscover the majestic beings they are.

I live on Hawai’i island with my cherished wife Melissa and our animal loves, exploring rainforests, beaches and volcanoes. I swim with extraordinary ocean beings, tend our growing food forest and delight in the flavors and textures that fresh tropical foods bring to my culinary endeavors.
