Gaia as Role Model

 Many spiritual and personal growth traditions encourage people to look inward, to explore their internal landscapes as a way to connect with all of life — and to live more meaningful lives.

Often people become stuck in intellectual exercises along the way. Their minds (some would say their egos) undermine their ability to evolve — and that boredom/confusion/bypassing can be tricky to circumvent, especially as people become versed in a tradition’s language and structures.

In the Ecosystem of Evolution, we’ve found an elegant way to keep our minds busy so that our life force continues to flow through us: We look to Gaia as a role model. As the essence of life on earth, Gaia is a beautiful role model when we are disconnected from our own life force. She reminds us that storms come and go, and that life wants to thrive. 

To reclaim our full essence — our life — we observe how Gaia relentlessly pursues her own life.
